Anne Matthews, OTR

Anne Matthews, MS, OTR/L, CHT, CLT-LANA, CMT joined the CMOH staff in 1999. She earned her Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from Columbia University in 1974, and is listed on the Roster of Distinguished Alumni of that program for outstanding professional achievement as a master clinician and author.

Anne is a Certified Hand Therapist and Certified Lymphedema Therapist, and has served as the national president of the American Society of Hand Therapists. She has published numerous articles; served for 10 years as Assistant Editor of the Journal of Hand Therapy; and edited 4 editions of a widely used textbook, “Rehabilitation of the Hand and Upper Extremity.”

In 2007, Anne added Massage Therapy to the services she offers within our practice. She is accredited by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. She offers Swedish massage, myofascial release and other therapeutic techniques, and Pfrimmer Deep Muscle Therapy.

Anne enjoys dragon boating and sculling, and has coached a 90 member women’s dragon boat team for 6 years.
