Cancer Support Groups

More and more research is showing that people with cancer who participate in supportive group therapy feel more relaxed and in control of their lives, more understood and supported, and seem to respond better to treatment.

Breast Cancer Support Group

Connecting with a community of people with shared experiences can be a powerful healer. We currently offer groups for women with breast cancer, in all stages of diagnosis, treatment, and post-treatment. Our group meets on the first and third Thursdays of each month and provides and opportunity to network with other survivors, share insights and concerns, and identify helpful resources. All breast cancer survivors in all stages are invited to participate on a regular basis (or simply drop in as needed).

Invited:
All breast cancer survivors in all stages of diagnosis, treatment and post-treatment

When:
First Thursday of each month following the "Knowledge is Power" lecture series, 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM
